    CCC silver on e-stand

    hello guys,

I have this silver one on hold for me and I received just the pics from the seller.
    It is one the e-stand.

But when seeing this better pics, I have my doubts about it.
It doesn't resemble an original one from Tom's book.

    Other opinions?

    Thanks,
    Nico

        Hi Nico,

It is a variation of reproduction #7 in the book. The very big acorn "nipples" are unmistakable. It doesn't look like a 100% match on the obverse which is odd, but looking at the reverse, which is also not a match tells me the fakers tried to swith things up. However, the hinge and really long pin are easy give aways (notice how long it sticks out past the catch, typical of this type of fake and fake #13 for that matter)

Walk away from it Nico IMO.

        Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I think the e-stand moderators should consider to intervene...
