    Fabric-backed TDB

    Hello folks,

Here is my TDB, which has a fabric backing that I haven't see on too many original pieces. Seems to be and original one, but what do you think? Regards, Robert

This TDB has a greenish-brown, canvas-type backing which is actually very common. One of the advantages of this backing is that it is not subject to mothing.

Thanks for the positive comments, fellows! I did a search on the forum and dealer sites, and found very few of the cloth-types - most seem to be wool, so I'm surprised to hear they're very common.

It's great having subject matter experts to help out on specific badges and insignia - thanks! s/f Robert
