A silver 'Bandenkampf abzeichen' ... real or copy?

    Dear all,

I do know that these badges are a mine-field but this badge was acquired recently by my friend Mark ('Arnhem')....is it a real one? It has IMO great looks and shows the signs of being a good one....Can you pls. give your opinions?

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards,

    Coco

This is not original. The back detail is very strange... Don't like the pin hinge either...

          Hi Coco

I'm not into this type of BKA's. I would say fake, but an interesting one as I have not seen a socalled 1.type made hollow. Details are not what yo would expect from a 1.type. Needle and catch looks weird, thick needle and flimsy catch I can't prove its bad but I for sure wouldt put more that 10$ on this one.

          Cheers Thomas

PS: I would buy the one presently for sale a e-medals and at a fair price :-)

I just checked emedals and WOW, I didn't know APBs had risen in price that much. I thought they were still around the $2000 range.
