Hi baresi,
I´ve seen one at www.weitze.net , I don´t really know about these but I think it would be a good idea to discuss this piece before purchasing it.

Weitze is the only dealer at the moment that has 3 Heeresbergführer badges to sell - all with enamel damages and one with broken needle.
All 3 pieces are genuine - i´ve handled the one in the middle and think it is the best of the three...
Winkler and Weitze a few years ago have sold two excellent badges without any damages for 5750,- and 6500,- € - these pieces are definitely not for the "small wallet".

That´s a "Breiherr Garmisch"-Heeresbergführer badge - a old copy, perhaps a regular version for the "young" Bundeswehr.
These pieces are very well made - the prices are between 250,- and 300,- €. Recently such a badge was sold on ebay germany for 365,- €.
If you want to buy such a badge, please let me know - a friend of mine has one.
Greetings,

Here's a link to the item in question, they're heavy - and neatly finished - badges ; for the rest, the pictures there will tell more than I would be able to. The guy is french, but nevertheless he's a very pleasant seller (and commercial-friendly to boot : buy a bit more, and ask for a lil'rebate).Last edited by Edelweiss; 03-17-2009, 05:58 PM.
