Hi all, does anybody know any military shops, markets in Munich? If yes, please send me the addresses.

Hi Sergey,

I lived quite some time in Munich and can say that regarding military shops, it is a dead city by now.

There are two shops that you can visit but both only have copies or minor stuff. One is in a sidestreet of the famous Viktualienmarkt, street is called Westenrieder Strasse. Not open on Saturdays and also very strange opening cycles thorughout the week. Unfriendly guy that really does get pissed if you tell him 99% of his awards stuff is fake. He also has hats and military Steins, etc, some of these are original. So be careful, it is a tourist trap.

Other one is around the corner of the also famous Hofbräuhaus. This one is open on Saturdays. Has minor awards crap mainly, like KVK 2nd class and also a lot of copies and 57 versions. Deals mainly in coins.

It takes you years of contacts and a good collector´s network to be able to buy good things in Munich.
