    IABs and PAB for review

    Hi Gang,

    i havd had these for 23+ years. can you please let me know if they are good or bad. Also, any info you can provide would be appreciated.

                  Top IAB is a nice original bronze made by JFS.

                  PAB is an original Aurich.

                  Will let those more experienced tell about the second IAB but also looks original.

                        Hi Giel,

                        Thanks for your input: 2 questions - 1) IAB - pillow crimp referes to what? and 2) how can you tell it is/was bronze on the PAB - it looks like a gray buntmetal. I am not very good with this stuff.

                              Hi Jeff,

                              1)Because the maker of the silver IAB is still unknown, we refer to "pillow crimp" (hardware is crimped in the form of a pillow). Consider it as a nickname.

                              2)Aurich never made buntmetal badges, this is a very typical zinker. You can clearly see the remains of the soft bronze finish Aurich used on the tank, on the grasszone etc...
