    Hermann Aurich Heeres Flak

    Hi guys,

    Well, I rarely say this but I have found a few pieces "out of the woodwork" from an ad in the paper! As far as I can tell, this is an original Aurich, but would like to hear some other opinions for you guys that follow these more closely than I do.

    All the original lacquer is in place and here are the dimensions, which match very closely to Marc's book:

    Height = 60.18 mm
    Widtch = 44.76 mm
    Weight = 29.1 grams

    Let me know what you guys think.

    Thanks

    Tom

    If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        If ever the term mint applied I'd say right about now would be a good time.

            Tom,

            It looks like the spittin' image of an original mint Aurich, ...but in much nicer condition. What a find!!! Happy for you.

              Thanks guys! I agree, she is in mint condition and as right as can be.

              I think I am now on Marc's sh1t list

                    Nice grab Tom , looks identical to mine. Funny, sounds like we both encountered ours unexpectedly. Came across mine while I was buying a K98 at a gun shop

                    Man that's a cool bird up top. This got me motivated to post some pics of mine after the recommended Vaseline treatment.

                            Hi guys,

                            Thanks for all the great replies, I am VERY happy and excited to have an original Aurich flak, let alone to find it in a vet grouping!

                            Nellis, here is a link to the entire group find for those interested. I am still picking my way through it and enjoying the research of all the items:
