    Heer Flak Badge

    Hi All,

I have this badge in my collection for a few years, and i was wondered what this badge is worth. I know that it is a little bit pitty, but still in good condition and it still looks nice on a uniform or display. I allready posted this badge on a forum when i bought it, and they concluded that it was made by a still unknow maker.

    Thanks,

    Alex

LM is an unknown maker. This badge is a good representative piece by that maker.

      Hi Don,

Thanks for your reply! On the other forum they said that the maker worked together with Hermann Aurich, looking at the design? And are there more known pieces of this maker?

      Kind regards,

      Alex

Yes, there are certainly more know pieces by this maker. But they are -almost- all in the same shape as yours; ground-dug

I only once saw a good one. I have a picture of it but I will not post it because I do'n't know if the owner wants that..

Hmm thats interesting! That almost all the know pieces are ground dug... But can we say that this is a rare maker or not? And then i'm just curios to what this medal is worth in this condition.

One in perfect condition could cost as much as 600 euro. In this condition however about 60 tops.

With 60 tops you mean 60 euro?

I would say the value would be higher. It depends on who's buying it. If you collect Heer Flak this is one you will need. You don't see to many of these badges around. Just my two cents.
                    I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

                      Hi Eric,

I have no idea.. But the badge looks great and the pin is as you can see on the photo, still moveable. So you can put it an tunic and you have looks from closeby to see that it is an bit pitty.. Thanks for your reply!

                      Alex

*Edit* I see on the pics that the pin is closed, but i can tell you that you can open it completly without problems.
