...And here's yet another one...this one was bought directly from the vet who "liberated" it. It shows nice, honest wear and is totally un-marked. Due to the finish wear however, I'm at a loss to be able to differentiate whether or not it's bronze or gold, but in comparing it to other bronze examples, I lean heavily towards gold, as is VERY evident when viewed in person, especially in the recesses of the badge. Your comments are welcome. Thx.

CCC Bronze or Gold???

Hi Milton,
You have a bronze CCC. From the obverse, this one looks like either a Deschler or Unknown Maker #1 from the CCC book. Both of these makers (especially Deschler) used a very bright bronze finish that looks goldish when sitting by itself. But, putting it next to a bonafinde gold grade, the difference will be quite apparent.
Please show a pic of the reverse.
