    Silver PAB option

    Fellow members:

How are you? If I may please request some factual assistance; I'm deciding to purchase a silver version PAB and opting between two manufacture's.

    - E FERD WIEDERMAN (maker marked, 3 dotted W)
    - FRITZ ZIMMERMAN (Junker look alike)

Both are in identical condition. I have no ability to send pictures, being down range the main reason.

My question is what manufactures product holds more value in rarity and cost. The difference is only 10 EURO between the two?

Your time and effort is deeply appreciated. Please reply as soon as you can manage? Thank you kindly.

I'm with Tom and Stewy on the Zimmerman. Depending on the price and condition, buying both would be an investment. Like Tom says, it is addicting.
Have you done any research of known and accepted vs fake badges? The only reason I ask is that you are a new member, which doesn't necessarily mean you are new to the hobby. You can also ask if a member is willing to post photos for you. You would have to e-mail the photos to that member's regular e-mail account. I have seen this done many times and it may save you some grief if the badge is a copy.
        Best regards,

            ALCON:

Thank you all for your sincere reply's. I't's been a 100% unanamous decision for the Zimmerman handsdown. I was in fact able to post Mike Pinkus (Tankbadges Website) the contending PAB's (obverse-reverse) and he was in favor of the Zimmerman as well. If anyone would like I can PM them the pictures, they are in very good condition at only 10 EURO's price difference. Thanks again.

Both are nice looking badges with a fair amount of finish.

MSG Medosa, i think you deserve both. Why not get them both when you got a shot at two nice PABs. Keep low down range, be over there in mid Feb.

What manufacture is S&L. I based my initial research from www.tankbadges.homestead.com. IThere is consistency there. I reviewed this site once again for the S&L and can't find reference for the S&L. Thanks for all your input.
