Opinions on Close Combat Clasp

Gentlemen, I ask you opinions on this CCC. It was silver finished but most is gone. Wide pin, marked "JFS(?)" in a small box on left rear. Some letters and Peekhaus, Berlin." on the right rear. Plate behind the eagle is tight. Pls click on a photo for a larger image. Thank you in advance. Rich

Hi Rich,

Looks like a nice original 1st pattern JFS (1.12.1 in the CCC book). From this altitude, its hard to be sure and there is a good fake of this exact pattern, so we would need better closeups to be sure.
