    Infantry assault Badge R.K.?

    Hello to all,

Was this type of Infantry Assault Badge made by Rudolf Karneth?
Thank you for any and all assistance.

    Best regards,
    Tom

    IAB reverse:
Hardware seems identical to that found on R.K. General Assault with crimped standard hinge variation.

          Hello Tom

As stated by stewy, this is a good R.K. "unpebbled" variant badge in nice condition. Congratulations.

              Thanks guys!

This is the first Infantry Assault Badge that I have ever had by this maker. I know that the R.K. General Assault Badges are very common. But I was wondering if this is a scarce maker for an Infantry Assault Badge?

              Best regards,
              Tom

                Hi Tom,

this variant is not so rar.IAB of this manufacturer often finds one.

                regards Michou

                    Hi Tom,

Very nice IAB and I agree that it was most likely made by Karneth. I really like the obverse detailing on these, I picked one up myself about a year ago. Have you noticed the little notches on the balls at the bowtie of the wreath? I really like their level of detail that Karneth put into these IABs.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                      Hi Tom,

Yes, I couldn't agree with you more. the detail on these is extraordinary. Much nicer than their GABs or PABs for that matter. Looks like yours is a bronze example too? Thanks for posting.

                      Best regards,
                      Tom

                        Hi Tom (both Toms)

Your badges probably looked a little like this at some stage

RK GABs, I still can't bring myself to buy one

                        cheers
