Latest FLL CCC Fake

Hi guys,

Here is Staegemeir's first attempt at a 1.14.2 FLL CCC, with the crimped-in hardware. Not bad, but still many aspects wrong with it when comparing to the original on page 190 & 191 in the CCC book.

Follow his updates, guys, and you will be able to pick his fakes out much easier and at a quick glance.

is the pin and catch supposed to be like this on an original CCC from this maker?

The pin and catch on the heros fake are close to the original FLL - both pin and catch have some slight differences.

Many thanks Tom for keeping us posted on the HEROS(aka FPOS)newest FAKE.This guy is a real POS I hope he gets his someday.This is just why good people like Tom,NTZ and others are really helping this hobby today.In the old days (60's)when I started out people did not out scum like this like they do today.There were a few that did like me but we got all the bad looks at the gun shows and even the people we helped who would see us in private but would keep their distance from us at the shows and in public.I like the new collector with balls not the old "well I will get him later" or I had better keep my mouth shut or all the guys will pass me by on the good items because I outed one of the good ol boy's.

Maybe this is just my opinion, but I think he is still not able to make a decent CCC... Not as some of his PAB's or IAB's.

Giel, his CCC's are getting close to the mark and even closer with each generation, granted not as close as the PAB's - but worryingly close! I think it's a matter of watch this space - a very good fake CCC is just around the corner.

You can spot the softer edges over an original. Its still a good attempt. A nice gapfiller.
