    R.K. PAB for review

    Hey guys,
I have this badge I would like opinions on. I really have no idea after comparing to others I've seen.

    Thanks!
    Ken

The badge looks original, but the main question here is: what about the finish?

I have never seen an rk with such an amount of finish left! The type of finish looks good, but the fact that these RK's very often loose their finish very fast worries me. In the best case you have a stunning RK PAB over there!
              Kind regards,
              Giel

Giel, the finish does look mint. I couldn't see any obvious signs of repaint or anything though. The collector I acquired it from some time ago was really into mint condition items.

                Thanks everyone for your responses!

                  Hi Ken,

Can you do an aceton test on it?
                  Kind regards,
                  Giel

Nothing wrong with this badge. It has been stored properly all these years. I used to have a near mint one still in the cellophane packet.

Sorry for the poor pics but this was before I owned a scanner.

Giel, I'm not sure how to do an aceton test...

Take a small piece of cloth with some Aceton (or nail polish) and rub very softly on a small piece of the badge. If the paint is new it will easily come off.
                          Kind regards,
                          Giel

Stewy, LOL.....Giel, I'm personally not comfortable with doing anything like that to the badge. I can't see any overspray or runs that would indicate a repaint so I will leave it as is instead of risking any damage to the badge.
