            This is a good idea. I have to admit I like the Juncker, next the S&L. The detailing of the talons/claws on both is a charm. And, I love the Juncker maker marks (I think they're imprinted into my brain cells: BERLINSW, BERLIN SW68, BERLINSW, BERLINSW68... ).

                I love the crisp strikes all the S&L badges have, and who can deny that eagle?!?! It is just HOT! But there is also something about the Aurich since I have only seen them on photos of Waffen-SS soldiers. Very interesting...

                  I have only a few of these, the Aurich being the favorite in my collection. But you know, I wouldn't mind at all an S&L as the one you posted is just plain sharp!!

                    You guys make some good points about obverse details and I totally agree. But I always consider the reverse details as part of the package. This applies to badges and women.
                    That's why I like the pillow crimp.
