    CCC in bronze.

    Hi,

Here are some pictures of my CCC in bronze by F&BL. I would appreciate your opinion on this CCC.
The backplate should be magnetic, but I am not sure. How do I determine the magnitism of the backplate? Should a small screw be able to hang on to it?
    Thanks.

    Looks ok to me.
The back plate is not magnetic itself, but is ferrous, so a magnet should should stick to it.

      Hi Fritz,

Perfectly textbook F&BL CCC, in great condition.

You need a magnet to tell if the plate is steel or not. Even a refrigerator magnet would work, but a screw would not unless it is previously magnetized (but how would you know?). With that said, I am sure that it will be magnetic, it looks like a typical F&BL plate with its thick black finish.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

          Thanks guys,

This was the answer I was hoping for. I totaly misunderstood the magnetism part. It IS magnetic, as well as the pin. Thanks agian.
