Hi there,i'm no expert on SS decorations but it doesn't seem right. I've one of these & although there are varients,IMO details are soft. I'm sure the experts on these will put your mind at ease. Stewy

I've been trying to make my mind up about this one all day...the lettering & oakleaves look ok, but there are areas of the stippling (especially around the base of the '4') that just don't look right (but that may be due to the lighting) and the rim looks to be excessively wide(but that could be because the exposed area of base metal on the reverse is visually dominant in the photos). At best it looks like an original medal that has been repainted (judging by the amount of wear and nicks that still retain the black finish.
Any chance of some in-focus close-ups?
