    Heeresbergfuhrer badge

    Hi
This is most likely postwar made, but I would expect even for a postwar one to be "Heeresbergfhürer" marked.
    Any opinions on this one,please?
    Thanks
    Ace

What info are you after? Its a poor copy, lacking the inscription.

Yes I know it's not genuine period plus 6000€,etc..., that's evident thanks for your knowledge, but even for a poor copy I would have expected to be marked with the inscription. Also it shows age and the edelweiss is strucked, something that I have never seen before in a copy..........

Maybe I should make myself clear and change the sense of the question.
Is this just a copy or a postwar made to be wore by veterans or most likey BW?
Why is not marked with the HBF inscription?Have you ever seen one without the inscription? Cause I haven't....yet

                Hi !

Many years ago I saw some members of the veterans organisation of a former Gebirgsdivision with this badge. Maybe it was manufactured for them as a veterans-organisation-membership badge for this division. I'm sure this should not be a "fake" for collectors.

                Regards,

                Peter

                    !

This is not an original badge in any ways.

It is an unfinished reproduction from a French guy. The same types are sold on eBay.de for 19 € or so.

This is what an original looks like:

                      Stan

                            Thanks Sander.

Here is a better picture of the obverse. Detlev says that originals "known by him" have green script. All the examples I have seen have black script:
