    GAB on the E-stand

    The badge:
    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=306342

Is it just me, or does it look like the badge is made from steel?

I find the edges to sharp, almost like it was cut in a CNC machine or something like that.

I looks ok to me. Here is one I have. It is very similar, the hinge plate is a little different.Sorry about the poor photo, it is an old one I have on file.

If the badge would be made of steel, it should be magnetic, right?
It's not magnetic, only the needle system.

                Hi Flemming,

I think nobody understood it this way. These interventions make the e-stand a safe place to buy!

It is very difficult some time to watch medals on a picture.
You have to think of following.

                    The Camera
                    The Light
                    Indoor photo
                    Outdoor photo

                    Yes you name it.

It could be a damn good award but a bad picture could spoil everything.

This one is good, no problem.

                    Andy

I also think it is fine.

Interesting to see this one and Daniels both have an oval base on the hinge. I don't recall seeing this style hinge on this type of GAB before.

                      regards
                      Graeme

                            Hi Jeff

                            Very nice example you have.

The base of your hinge is not the oval type I was talking about. The base of your hinge is of the type that IMO is more often encountered.

                            cheers
