I bought this Infantry Assault Badge, in silver, at an antique store today, along with a couple of SA sports Badges. Sadly, the hinge and pin are missing In very good condition otherwise. I paid $35 for each of the (3) badges.
It is un-marked, but from my research using Yuri's article in the member's area, appears to have all the characteristics of a J.B. & Co. badge. Heavily pebbled oak leaves, close together acorns, ribs on the twig stems (at the bottom of the wreath), same clasp, and the same "high on the eagle" mounted hinge crimp.
You don't hear a lot about this maker; It has much better detailing than both of my Assman IAB's.
Let me know what you think. All comments and observations are welcome!
