Dion, any journalist would pay REAL MONEY to do a story on you. THey would title it "The Nazi-Casanova: How One Man Woos Women With Nazi Militaria."

        Tom,

Until your book arrives, could you please explain where the flaws and nicks are that were a give away for you?

          Hi Chad,

We have to be careful with Staegemeir and his fakes as he reads these threads and immediately fixes problems once we post them on here. What I would suggest you do is do a search for "hero fake CCC" and compare ones that come up to this one posted here. I have been following his fakes for several years now and post his creations on the forums for all to see, so a search will pull up all the old fakes I have posted in the past. Compare these and they are identical. Then do a search for "FLL CCC" and see what originals look like and compare these to the Hero fakes. You will see differences if you take the time to study the pics. There are some really easy ones with his fake FLL CCCs.

          Good Luck.

          Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

            Chad,

Here you go, another of his FLL fakes right out of the same batch, but with different finish and hardware. Compare, compare and compare the 2 fakes in this thread and you will see similarities. Then look at originals.

                Very good advice Tom,

In searching hard we learn the differences ourselves, and it imprints these differences in our brains. It also teaches us how to effectively use this forum. We all need help from time to time, don't anyone misunderstand me, but there's nothing that takes the place of finding things out for ourselves. We have all the tools at our disposal to work with. You and others have provided very good photos, here and in your book, for us to work with. We thank you for that.

                Robert
