I know next to nothing about these, so can someone with the knowledge tell me if this is an original? All I can say is that it is very tarnished and worn out.

Hi Matthew,

Sorry but thats a very crude fake. All the detailing is absent and the oakleave wreath leads a life of it's one. Look how it almost completely is grown arround the bayonet.

Yeah I figured. The dealer who sold it to me got it from Manions, so that should tell you something.

We discussed these fakes before. The funny thing is that they all show wear at the EXACT same spots (besides being terribly crude).
