    Hollow 'buntmetal' GAB?

Just curious if this GAB, which I presume is made by Frank and Reif, is zinc or buntmetal? If zinc, it certainly has a nice silver plate with beautiful patina.

    Thanks,
    Robert

I think it is zinc and as you mentioned Frank & Reif. Great Badge.

Thank you both very much. I saw the hinge base and thought 'zinc', but the catch had me thinking contrary. At any rate, thank you. It's got a nice plate of silver.

              Hi Robert,

I say zink too based on the hinge plate. That F&R catch never has a catchplate according to Frank's book, which is one of only a few examples of zinc badges with catches soldered directly to the base metal.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
