Condor Legion Tank Badge vs PAB

Good evening all,

Assuming a panzer trooper EM/NCO qualified for the spanish cross would one assume he qualified for the Condor Legion badge? If so and he went on to serve in the Panzer Lehr and qualified for the PAB which would have taken precedence? Or would it be a matter of personal choice?

By regs Me thinks the Condor Legion would be the one he would wear. He could of course qualify for the PAB, 25 ,50 and 100 later one the 25 would be reg be higher than the CL badge.

That being said I have seen photos of both being worn, and sometimes three.

I guess it would depend on the situation.

Hi,
I assume they were entitled to wear both. The LC panzer badge is more a commemorative badge to the participation to the Spansh war within the Panzergruppe Drohne than a combat badge awarded after several assaults.
