Heeresflak badge and Wehrpass

I got this today as the family finally found the Wehrpass. The hook is unfortunately broken off the badge.

the badge has a strange "golden" color but is well worn.

Having the Wehrpass to trace the owner's combat history makes this a special badge indeed.

An wonderful grouping I would love to have The gold color is from the lacquer aging over the last 60 years. Just fatastic paperwork too.

Congratulations on this nice find. I really like the front of the flak badge. It shows plenty of honest wear. The broken catch is not even an issue with such a nice grouping.

thanks for your comments, I would have loved to have gotten the documents to the decorations but that was all that could be found!

There was also a close combat badge with the group (bronze) but I have not shown this and it is not entered in the Wehrpass. Possibly it was in the Soldbuch but not Wehrpass. I might show this later.
