Hi Allan,
Great first pattern JFS clasp. Hard to tell from the pics how much finish is left on the clasp. In your opinion since you have it in hand, do you feel that the finish is 100% still there, but just faded, or are we seeing the base zinc?

Tom,
I think a lot of the finish is there but faded.
The surface of the clasp is 'glossy, shiney, not matt as though the finish had faded into the zinc.
You can certainly see the silver finish in the sunlight!!!
