    Opinions On Bronze Ccc Please!

    Hi,

Clearing out the last of my German items and came across this. I think I replaced it on a jacket with a better example at some time. Highlights on the eagle and crossed bayonet/genade are worn a little revealing base metal. The back plate is magnetic. Just wanting to know if original ok so I can put on Estand and if anyone could hazzard a selling price if thats not against Forum rules much appreciated! Adam

            Hi Adam,

Its an original, late war, unmarked Steinhauer und Luck CCC.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

              Adam,

Can you zoom into the backplate area, it looks as if it may have been replaced.

              Thanks

              Tom

Hi Guys. Thanks for the info. I've taken some shots of the back, tried to get the light to reflect a bit. I can see where the plate has been 'crimped' into the badge but see no additional marks or scrapes just some very light rubbing of the highlights. Adam

Very nice S&L clasp! IMO the backplate is original to the clasp.
                        Kind regards,
                        Giel

Thanks Tom and Geil. Light is not too good today but I guess it did the trick. Adam
