      Hi Larry,

Can you please post a straight on picture of the obverse and reverse, rather than at an oblique angle? A picture of the maker mark and some dimensions and weight would also be helpful.

      Thanks

      Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                Hi Larry,

I agree, I don't see anything wrong with it. Most certainly a zink badge.

                      Very nice Juncker indeed!

I picked this badge up nearly a year ago. My new ring light really lightens and picks up every detail on the badge, things the naked eye doesn't really see - like the discororation around the catch and hinge.

                              Thanks Larry,

Over the years I've seen a few Juncker flaks with the catchplate turned vertical rather than horizontal, like ours. And, the maker mark on some of them was the earlier style stamping without the '68' at the end. I found out that the catchplates on some were turned vertical because some of the badges were dished (concave) on the reverse, while the catchplates on the others were fitted to a flat-backed badge, and turned horizontally. Recently I purchased a Juncker Heersflak with a vertical catchplate, and the reverse was dished. Since then I've pulled every thread I could from our archives, and found every combination of catchplate position with the two different marker marks. One thing interesting I have also found is that earlier in the scheme of things Juncker used a different base on their earlier hinges, rounded corners. There are a lot of variations to collect.
