              Yes, this is a Cupal badge with the finish almost intact, but showing the aluminum in spots where the finish is worn.

                Guys,
                quick question..

                will this badge oxidize or deteriorate? I have it mounted under glass, in a room that has a dehumidifier. Since I dont have a background in badges, I am not aware of the preventative measures that might be recommended for the care of an example like this.

                My concern is that by the time evidence appears of a chemical change taking place, its too late to do anything about it.

                suggestions?

                  Your badge will be fine unless it is mounted on something that off gases. Foam rubber etc are not good but other than that you should be ok.
