Nice chaos pattern Wurster, too bad about the swas.

I really like the denazification though,seems like they really took good care of her and leave the eagle's paws on it!

Seems like the hinge is also repaired.

yes i think the hinge has been repaired.

i think also that the denazification is a recent thing: the metal showing from where the swaz has been removed is very bright.

why is it called a chaos pattern?

is this an early or mid war badge you think?

Beautiful badge Dave even with the hack job..these buntmetal Wursters are found with two different grass patterns.The first pattern(yours) has been nicknamed the "chaos" pattern and the second pattern has been nicknamed the "organized" pattern.Here's a comparision of the two types that should help you out.( chaos pattern is on the top)

yes my pab is a very fine piece.

By the way, although i do have a fair few denazified awards, I do collect the ones with the swastika as well

denaz ones just intrigue me with the history they represent I guess.
