    My first IAB

    Hello,

Here is my new IAB, really it's my first !
what do you think about it ? is it good ? I suppose....
according to the "4" on the needle, it's unmarked , and is it possible to know the maker ?

thank you very much of your informations

    Hi Laurent,

I am sorry to say that this is a reproduction in my opinion. The obverse design is quite poor and the reverse is a clear attempt at copying an original wartime IAB by Steinhauer und Luck. This is confirmed by the adding of the "4" on the pin, which was S&L wartime Leiferant number.

Welcome to the hobby & to the club of reproduction owners, we have ALL been there my friend

    Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I think Tom is right here, it's not an original, I have this one in my fake files for
a long time, only the '4' is new for me.

      regards Den

Laurent, this is ,as stated by the others, a repro. Don't be discouraged, this has happened to all of us at one point or another. If you purchased it from a German dealer I would e-mail them a link to this thread and approach them for a refund. Good Luck!

could you name the dealer? A reputable one?

                Hi

I was wondering if anyone has coined this particular bird. I know that many of us here on the forum refer to items by their nicknames like tucan etc. My suggest for this one would be the "Skeletor". I've attached a picture with side by side comparison. Let me know what you guys think.
