I have NEVER seen a fake with such convincing file marks on the side of the wreath. Check out the patina on the handgranade grip, almost impossible to fake.. Last but not least, I see a lot of detail in the leafs vains which is also a good sign.

But, these are again no good scans David. They are deffinitely needed here because this example is not completely textbook.

from last pics, I think it's not a real war time badge, details of catch and hinge -pin are not good, and material looks like poor iron.
