    IAB on e-stand

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...34#post2651534

IABs are not my area... but to me this looks like a poor quality cast fake, despite the front having decent detail. Any opinions as to its authenticity?

    Cheers,
    Rylan

Looks like an attempt to copy an Assmann. If this one turns out to be okay then I need to re-learn the hobby.

It does have that typical cast in hinge you find on the older Polish copies.

A cast fake. Two of these (marked "2" & "4") have been discussed within the last week.

                Hi guys,

i see that Rylan beat me to post about the IAB on E-stand. IMO that is a cast copy of a Assmann with a very crude hinge and a very ugly catch.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Thanks for the good eyes guys. I have removed the IAB for sale.

                  Best,
                  John
