MK# is the maker mark of Hauptmunzamt Munchen.Looking for italian fascist militaria (RSI period preferably) - badges insignia awards ID cards and everything else! -

An IAB with the marking M.K.1 is from an UNKNOWN maker. There are a whole series of them, ranging I think up to M.K.6. Speculation is that they may have been produced by a badge maker based in Gablonz, possibly one of the AGMuK consortium.
These have been discussed in th epast so I suggest you do a search.

Hi. I must to say that details of this badge are identical to badges of A.S. I dont think that it is fake. I have seen some badges with maker mark M.K.1 founded on battlefields in Russia. But I have the question why the badges of M.K.1 maker so similar to badges of A.S.?Comment

Hi Sergey,
The hinge/pin/catch assemblies on AS and MK badges (ball turret hinge, etc) are certainly similar but I've never taken the time to compare obverse features. Next time I'm home I will and then report back, if no-one has done so in the meantime.
