Can you do a collage of the hinges and then the catches for an easy comparision?

Maybe you can copy my pictures and do a collage of the hinges and catches? I'm kind of a dumbell when it comes to some of this computer stuff. Not sure how to go about doing it.

I just noticed that the hinges for the Heer & Luft Flaks were both scored to indicate center for cutting the slot for the pin. Interesting! Wow! And I figured out how to do a collage. Yes, miracles can still happen.

Thank you for your comments. You are too kind.
Like you, I have never trusted any of the W.H. Wien Heer Flaks. I certainly never thought I would actually buy one until this example came along. I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled upon it. The pictures do not really do this badge justice. It looks all-the-more convincing when examined in-hand. I had such a positively-strong, good gut feeling when I first looked at this badge that I knew I had to buy it. At the same time, though, I fully realize that I may never be able to resell this piece because of the understandable collector mistrust of any Heer Flak marked W.H. Wien. In that case, I am content to keep this one and take it to the grave.

Hi Tom,

I just picked up a W.H.WIEN Heer Flak. I read this old thread last week before buying the badge, and felt that it matched some of the more convincing criteria presented here. You and I both seem more positive than negative about these, I think.

I'm gonna provide the link. Chime in if you like. It may be interesting to compare these two badges. I'm game if you are!
