Bronze IAB - Please Help ID Maker

    Hi Everyone,

I'm struggling to ID the maker of this IAB: can anyone help me out?

If I'm not mistaken the plate to the hinge is a characteristic of the Daisy IAB: however, the obverse details look to be different from the Daisy.

    Thanks for looking.

    All the best,
    Toby.

looks like the fake on page two of fakes at GCA-for me the ring around eye is the reason-maybe a better head shot

            Thanks for posting.

I've checked the thread you mention but it doesn't look the same to me. Also, mine is zinc and the fake referenced is buntmetall.

My badge also looks to show genuine wear around the perimeter of the badge. Plus it isn't sharp at the edges, as a fake might be. Smells zincy too (not to be confused with minty).

Edit: I've just taken another look at my badge against my photo above and I must say my photo isn't too flattering. In hand, the head doesn't look "pigeon-esque" and there is no ring "around" the eye.

            Toby.

Some more images of the badge, taken in daylight.

              Thanks for looking.

4 - Notice the wear around the edge of the badge.

Wow, that front on shot shows a very different image of the head! Funny how the angle of the pic can have such drastic results

I still can't see what would be wrong with it...
                              Kind regards,
