              Hi Keith,

              A couple of key things to look for.

              1. Finish: 2nd model aluminum badges had anodized finishes. Compare this one to known originals. Look at the ones Giel recently posted in the FJ forum.

              2. Die Characteristics: Examine the reverse of the Wehrmachtadler closely in comparison to the ones Giel posted. You will see this is not a CE Juncker Die strike.

              3: Catch. The catch will always be affixed to the reverse of the wreath in a "C" form, never a "?" form embeded within the wreath itself (unless it has been repaired, which this one clearly has not been).
