The box is good and here's a link to when I posted it a while back. Marcus checked it out then and he said it looks good to him.

IMHO the 2 pics in post 23 are not of the same exact badge.

Yet is has the same "dirt" marks. It appears someone tried to strip off the heavy lacquer coating and maybe filed down some excess flashing.......

I agree the swastika looks very crude. The hardware, as you say, is what you would expect from FLL. Having it in hand is the finish of the obverse and reverse very smooth as a die-forged piece? Does the edge of the badge look good? I don't know how good this new micro-casting is, but one thing I would expect to see on a newly-made micro-cast piece is a good finish. This one has none, unless it has that factory varnish.

The lengths that some people will go to. It sure makes the hobby tough. But I'm not going anywhere.

                    Hi

It's the same badge! I think! The reason I think this is because I took pictures of it before I sent it to Marc and my picture looks like the one in the hand and not the one Marc took the picture of even though they are the same. I will post the picture later.

                        Hi

Ok so I read post 24 and tried the link but it did not work. So I'm assumming that the one with the hand in the picture was on lakeside trader and you just saved the pictures and reposted them. Or is this a badge that's yours Robert?

Exactly, Kenneth. The badge in the photo with the blue background is the same badge shot with a different F-stop.

                            To all,

My question to Marc in post # 25 was, "Could this literally be the same exact badge?"

Marc's reply in post # 27 was, "Yes, Robert, the same exact badge."

So here's a picture of the same one Marc has but from a slightly different angle. Now that I look at it close I think that it must be the same badge but how?

I would think because someone other than me bought it and sent it to him for study.
