    rare makers?

    Guys -

Forgive me for not taking and uploading pictures to go with this question... I am so busy I shouldn't even be here fooling around on the WAF!

I Just got a big collection in and I wonder if the makers on these badges are rare, and worth more than the average price of the badge.

Infantry Assault in Silver - BSW
General Assault Badge - hollow backed, unmarked
Gold wound badge - hollow backed, unmarked
    black wound badge - 32
    black wound badge - L/56

    Thanks guys!

    Mike

I think you will find a hollow gold wound badge to be problematic. I don't see anything you can call "rare" in what you've listed.

You would do best to ask that question on the wound badge forum.

                Hello,

No, you have a tomak produced BWB with the paint stripped off (possibly wartime) to make it look like a gold one. The items you list aren't considered rare, with the exception of the wound badges being marked as they aren't always.....

A nice collection regardless of how rare the makers are!

                  Hi

I don't believe in the whole hollow gold wound badge. This is highly debated and I'm on the side that doesn't like these.
