Nice original FLL clasp with soldered hinge. (type 1.14.1 in Tom's book)
                Kind regards,

Very nice original clasp. Did the son tell you anything about the recipiant?

                      Hi guys,

I agree, nice original FLL CCC. I too would like to hear more about the recipient if there is any more to tell.

                      Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                        Hi Don,

unfortunately he didn´t know too much about his father - he was only 5 or 6 years old when his dad was kia. His mother flew with him at the end of the war from Schlesien to the Western Part of Germany. Somehow a small card box with his CCC, his east medal, 2 IC 2nd class survived that mess. No photos - no paperwork.
He wanted to sell the memories of his father to someone who would keep it. His own children showed no interest and wanted to throw the "stuff" away.
Sad but true story - even though there are so many collectors in Germany still many things are just thrown away.
