25 Panzer Assault Badge HOLLOW BACK

Is this original? I regret missing the descussion about 3 or 4 months back on these hollow backs, never seen it ... The two overall shots are with flash, clear detail and 2 piece construction. Any thing would be great!

Hi Tony, the GB numbered tank badges have been discussed at length. There are some features of your badge which I do not care for. Here is a link to an excellent thread on these badges.

Jeff Thank you for the link, this was a very good discussion and I wish I new about it as it was going on. My camera has a tendency of giving the badges a soft look while they are actually quite sharp. I compared the badges and found them to be nearly exact, fith a couple of variants found on some and not others such as the silled in legs, and small based catch. As I said the edges are quite sharp.

I admit that I am weak on this type of badge (hollowback) but I am not keen on your example. I could be very well wrong but it's JMO.
