    Well

Gaspare is already after it. I do not collect DAK, but I just like this Italian made ring, it has style.

          Dr. Stangelove,
Is Gaspare after it for purchase or get photos for his book on Third Reich Rings ? I know he has people send photos to put in his book. So this ring was made in Italy, very interesting.
Do you have any story on the history of your ring ?
          Regards,
          Bill

            Response

I was able to show it to G Man at the last MAX and he was able to evaluate the ring for me. And if I sell he has first crack as he inquired about purchase before anybody else. He also said something about wanting photos of it for his book. He was able to tell me a lot about the ring and its construction.

              Dr. Strangelove,
Did Gaspare tell you the ring was made in Italy and not North Africa, what was the way he determined this , inquiring minds want to know
The man is a wealth of ring info .

made in north Afrika not in my city... Naples

                              Paging Gaspare!

I include this picture so Gaspare can explain the Ring and why the holes.

WHOA!! Some really nice rings guys!!!

Doc, I'm ready anytime you want to give that ring a new home!

The hole is needed when 2 dissimilar metals are soldered together on a hollow ring. Makes affixing the emblem alot easier! This type of ring is usually Italian made. You can usually tell because many [not all] have Italian Fascist silver hallmarks!!

Hey if you want a DAK ring for a representation,, this is the type [Raffaello and the good Doctors!] you want fellas,,IMO....,G.
