F&B L, Dive bomber clasp, HELP please

    Hi,
I need a little help with a F&B L Heav/med dive bomber clasp. With all the fake CCC's by F&B L , I would like to know your opinions on this clasp. It appears there is not a period between the B and the L like on the CCC fakes. Is this right ? Please comment on all aspects of the badge. Thanks again, Mitch

      Hello Mitch,

I don't like this example as well. For a zinc piece to have no finish and the bomb to retain all the finish is a start .

Also I just don't care for the reverse of the piece which indicateds the thickness of the piece.

Thier is little detail to the oak leaves.

I am asumming that the example is bronze? With the wear to the swaz and the paint intact on the bomb, not to sound reduntant.

Thier is much more that concerns me , like that overstock of of material near the hinge as well as the maker mark.

        Mitch, Joseph,

I bought this F&BL Bomber Frontflugspange from Detlev a year or two ago. I don't think there is anything to worry about with the bomb still retaining its original colour as it is made from a different material and coated with a different type of coating. You will see on mine that none of the silver colour remains but the bomb is still black.
Sorry, but I only have a picture of the front of mine until I can later dig it out and scan it.

          Dear Mitch,

Looks like a good F&BL clasp to me, nothing wrong with it.

          Cheers, Frank
