    Algemeines Sturmabzeichen JFS

    Hello!!

    Can some one please post my pictures? My email is; dennis_ng22@hotmail.com . Email me if you can post my pictures

    Here is the story;
    I bought this badge a year ago. It is an Algemeines Sturmabzeichen made by JFS. JFS is stamped in the middle of the badge.
    I heard that there is disagreement wether such a badge is real or not. I heard from some collectors that they are sure these badges didn't exist, that JFS didn't make such badges. Others say that they do exist and that it is a real one.

    Now I want your opinion about this. What do you think about this badge? And what do you think of the existence of such badges?

    My opinion about this badge is that it is a real honest one!!

    Hi Dennis,

    I think there is consensus on the forum that JFS marked GAB's are always fakes.

    There are however original GAB's, with the same kind of riveted hinge and catch as found on these fake JFS's but they are always unmarked and quit rare because most of these riveted unmarked GAB's are also fakes.

    I think this sums up the general consensus on these GAB's. Correct me if I'm wrong guy's. Took me a while too before understanding this and hope I got it right this time .

      Hi Dennis,

      I agree with Philippe, all the JFS standard GABs I've seen around were fakes (I even had one some years ago) so I simply think they are fantasy pieces.

        Dennis, I also had one of these a few years ago. I agree with Matteo and Phillipe in that these marked JFS GAB's are fake.

                That particular example looks like a really crude casting of the repro - a repro of a repro!

                  Like I told you this is a copy and not even a good one like Mike stated. In the 3 picture the poc marks from casting ar clearly visible.

                  Sorry Den but this isn't the real thing.

                      Thank you all for your replies!!.. So if I understand it right, every Sturmabzeichen marked with JFS is fake. Time to buy a real one then

                      I have to learn a lot more about badges!

                      Does some one maybe have such an unmarked bagde made by JFS?
                      The badges made by JFS are populair omong collectors aren't they?
