Hello,
Don is correct - Eastern Peoples 2nd class with swords. This is the version in silver and was awarded for bravery to the Eastern volunteers.
W&L "100" produced a lot of these during the war, is the ring marked?
As for the value, I cannot say for sure but I would guess about $100.00 US
