Reiterabzeichen opinion

Hello everybody, I would like to hear Your opinion about his badge. I have purchased it today. It was in category GERMANY 1918 - 1945.

I'm sure it is original but not absolutly sure if it's pre 1945. I'm affraid this is a post war Reiter badge.

Tell me if I'm right or wrong ?????

I thought these had a circle at the bottom of the wreath with a R in it....

All of them made since 1931 to 1945 I have found in the internet had R in the circle at the bottom.

This one is without the R. Does it mean a post war example ??

This badge is still in production and still awarded. Founded in 1939 in gold silver and bronze all war time version had the R. I Haven't seen one in a while but the modern ones look just like this. Most likely recent production.


The funny thin about this badge was is had no obvious Nazi symbol on one of the very few.
