OK, I will be the first to comment: I don't like the way the left side of the tank touches the wreath. There is a strage deformity there.

Also notice the small horizontal lines on the reverse of the badge EVERYWHERE. That's really weird.

It's a known fake. I bought one just like it a few months ago. Could be the same badge. Frank H identified it as a fake since he had one just like it. I'll send you a PM and tell you where I had purchased it to see if the same. I believe the catch was a very thin wire, correct?

I dont like the angle cut on the hinge pivot pin. Looks like it was diked off with snippers.

Hi Guy's,

First one for me. When I took a first look, I thought what a nice PAB but upon looking closer there are indeed some things wrong with this one.

The wreath on the left side next to the turret is completly deformed, the cut outs are very crude and the material left from the turret is still in place.

Hinge and catch are wrong for this type of PAB. Based upon the grass area I was able to determine the original used to produce this copy. The fact that this copy looks so good has everything to do with the fakers using (IMO) the best and most detailed hollow PAB ever made.

I'll post some pics off my example and a detail of the grass area to compare with the one Yuri posted. These PAB never have a catch plate so that's also a big give away.
