      Doesn't look like a rapair tome Mike. The silver finish on the solder looks the same as on the badge itsel,so I wouldn't be worried about it

        I was actually talking about the zinc badge with the plate.

              Hi

              I don't think it's a repair either. From the pics provided it looks to be a sloppy soldering job. The reason I think this is, it still appears to have the original finish over the solder and if it were a repair more then likely there would be some sort of solder line that would appear as a different color. One other thing is that it all seems to present the same aged appearance.
