IAB- unmarked up for opinion

I am not familiar with infantry assault badges but as my Heer collection continues to grow this is something I would like to add. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Well I like it, very nice designed eagle IMO, from an unknown maker.

Whats the hinge look like at the base? Any chance of a better side shot of the hinge.

Yours also has the parallel finishing lines on areas of the reverse that are common with this maker.

Recieved the badge and finally took some pictures of the hinge and catch. Let me know what you think. In the hand the badge feels substantial and very finely detailed.

hmm - maybe you wanna take another shot of that hinge - where you can see the base - oval or square, round??? Resizing the pix might be a good idea, too. Apart from that - the hardware looks like SHuCo, the catch to the left is a SHuCo characteristic (but they were not the only ones!), but the obverse is off...
Either way, pix of the hinge would be of interest to me...
