    Silver CCC Peekhaus JFS

I'm new here and just have a quick question before I go any further. I don't think it's necessary to post photos unless the answer to my question is yes. I'm looking at a Silver CCC with the JFS (inside a box) marking on the left, and the W.E PEEKHAUS BERLIN marking on the right as you're looking at the backside. I've researched this site and found every PEEKHAUS CCC marked just the opposite, JFS or otherwise. Was there ever an original PEEKHAUS CCC marked this way? Thanks for your time.

    Hi Charles,

Yes, there is a JFS variant with the designer's mark on the right side. It should be stamped into the badge as opposed to the ones that you probably have seen with the mark in raised relief.

You should post the pics in here anyway as there are VERY good fakes of both types of JFS clasps, to be sure.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Here is an example of the badge you're speaking of. This was posted recently, and deemed original.

Maker's name stamped on the right.

It is never a waste of time to post pics. You may save a fellow collector some pain.
